There is no staged lighting in the cave so select members of the group will be given a small lantern. Your guide will also have an inspector’s lantern to assist everyone in seeing. The Ruby Falls Lantern Tour is a visually stimulating experience but it is also a storytelling trip. Your guide will share stories and details of the rich history and geology of the Ruby Falls Cave. If you have never seen the falls, this will be a great time to do so, as the highlight of this event is the waterfall illuminated through the use of the lantern and pulley system.
