National Public Lands Day Hikes

Head on out to one of Tennessee’s 56 State Parks and enjoy a hike on September 30, 2017.  This awesome event is being sponsored by Tennessee State Parks and promises to bring fun and adventure, naturally.  Choose from 56 unique parks, 1100 miles of trails and 80 plus waterfalls to take in this day of fun!  Of course if you are staying around this area, you will want to head to Fall Creek Falls State Park.  Help beautify the overlooks around the scenic loop of the park.  Then you may want to head over to Rock Island State Park to help with a park beautification project.  The Park Ranger there will be pulling exotic invasive plants at the minnow box, lay a rock path, and replant native plant species, all with your help.  All the parks will begin at 9:00 with the various beautification projects.  Please come out and spend some time assisting these beautiful areas that we all get to enjoy!  Please use the links below to pick your area and how you would like to give back to the community.  See ya there!
