I get a lot of requests to write about the bike trails in our area so here is a new mountain bike trail that will be opening November 18, 2017. Located in Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville, TN this new trail is sure to be fun for everyone. The trail is aimed for beginners in the mountain bike field, yet it will have features for the more advanced riders also to enjoy. The “Grand Opening” will be featuring a demo day with two local mountain bike vendors so everyone can try some of the most popular mountain bikes they have to officer. Hurricane Cycles in Crossville and Caney Fork cycles in Cookeville will have Trek, KONA and EVO bikes on hand for everyone to try on the trail. The event will begin at 10:00 AM CST and after the ribbon cutting ceremony it will be time to hit the trail. If you are staying at Deer Creek Cabin or Rocky Top Cabin, or just in the area, make plans to head over to Cumberland Mountain State Park and enjoy this beautiful park and especially the great new bike trail.
