The Riverbend Festival was started in 1982 and now some 35 years later it has become Chattanooga’s premier event. This annual festival has now grown to (8) nights and ranks in the top 10% of all American festivals. The artists span over a vast genre of sounds, but know that you will enjoy hearing these artists on 5 different stages set along the backdrop of the Tennessee River at Ross’s Landing, also known as the Scenic City’s front porch. Headline performers are featured on the Coca-Cola stage which is an old barge that has been converted into a full concert stage. The barge floats just off shore against amphitheater seating that is built into a hillside at the waters edge. Its a great way to see a performance!
