Off the Beaten Path…Bike Ride the Upper Cumberland Plateau

Love to be outside and ride your bike?  The Cumberland Plateau is an awesome place to do it.  Come and discover the back roads, history and unique sited of the Upper Cumberland.  The Upper Cumberland Plateau is filled with beautiful natural features for you to enjoy along the way.  Be sure to stop often and look out over the picturesque scenery of the streams, valleys and mountains right before you!  There are so many routes, short and long, to enjoy that you will want to come back many times.  The closest for you to enjoy would be a nice ride over the Fall Creek Falls State Park. The park is only 2 miles from Deer Creek and Rocky Top Cabin, but you will want to enjoy the bike trails there, which can take you all day to explore and enjoy.  Fall Creek Falls State Park offers varying degrees of trails for all to enjoy.  The beginner level is an easy trail requiring basic riding skills.  Terrain varies but does not have any steep grades, ledges or ruts.  Next is the intermediate level which is an off-road experience and requires more advanced skill (for mountain bikes).  The route has moderate steep grades and some ledges and ruts.  The advanced level is for the expert, well experienced rider.  Steep inclines and very rocky terrain make up this advanced ride.

While this is just one of the many bike trails throughout the Upper Cumberland Plateau area, there is always a good time to ride in this area as the weather is very comfortable and makes for outstanding conditions to get out and enjoy. Dates are still available so make your reservation today at Rocky Top Cabin or Deer Creek Cabin to come relax, ride your bike and enjoy all of the scenery in the Upper Cumberland Plateau.  #uppercumberlandplateau #comegetaway #awesomebikeride #fallcreekfallscabins
