38th Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival

This years 38th Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival takes place at Fall Creek Falls State Park on September 8th, 2017 and continues Saturday and Sunday. Please click on the link for times each day. This festival is full of music, handmade crafts and of course lots of good food! The objective of this festival is to support the arts and crafts in Tennessee. Artistic and craftsman bring their wares to this festival to showcase and of course sell original items. There will be over 100 booths set up to display an array of woodworking, wrought iron, folk art, handmade soaps, candles, leather works and basket weaving. There will also be a Kids’ Corner which will be located in the courtyard area of the Recreation Hall on Saturday and Sunday. Kids can enjoy games, crafts and entertainment for kids of all ages. Two stages will highlight music and storytelling, with an array of groups and individual performers singing and playing the great sounds of bluegrass music. This event is free and open to everyone
